This is another way to combine various activities together with a mixture of challenges during your time in Andes. An overview of our adventure in trekking, biking, rafting and historical and cultural experience. Morning departure driving south of Cusco, viewing the snow peak of Ausangate (alt. 21,000 ft). We drive northeast out of Cusco for about one hour where we will stop and visit the Alpaca and Llama breeding and fiber producing farm and witness aspects of the weaving process. Then we will continue to the arqueological site of Pisac (one of the Incan out post)in order to hike and tour for three hours. Breakfast and then we drive for 1 hour to the beginning of our biking trail. Here we visit the archaeological site of Moray (one of the experimental field for agriculture from the Incas times) and then bike down to the Salt Mines at Maras. We have lunch in the valley and the rest of the afternoon is free or optional visit to pottery workshop Hotel. (B, L)

Today we will drive for about one hour to the community of Willoq in order to begin our trail.After visiting the community and having the oportunity to see some of the Andean weaving and traditions made by the community we will beging our trail in the grasss land area with the chances to see some flora and fauna tipical of this ecosistem.We will be scorted by one menber of this quechua community whoo take one Llama with our linch.thetrail one original an a inca trail used by the Morning departure driving south of Cusco, viewing the snow peak of Ausangate (alt. 21,000 ft). We will stop for picnic lunch in the nice spot and after we will continue hikking throught the diferent High and middle Andean valley in this ecosistem called the Andean semi dry forest for about 5 hours passing beatifuyl valley and exploring the arqueological site of Pumamarca.we will arrive to the bottom of the valley in the afternoon. Today we will drive to the beginning of our trail for mountain bike (moderate). After getting ready all the equipment and our bike .We will begin this incredible descend down hill (about 25 kilometers) trough different Interandean valleys for 3 hours until we reach the hot springs where we will stop. After the bath we will have lunch. After we will continue for one hour to the town of Calca where we will finish. After we will drive to the town of Pisac where we will stay in our bed and breakfast and relax in town at night. (B, L,)Hotel

This is the day we will drive for about 1 and a Morning departure driving south of Cusco, viewing the snow peak of Ausangate (alt. 21,000 ft). After we pass several valleys we will get to the putting point of our River. After getting ready of the equipment and river gear, we go rafting in the Vilcanota River and run class III and class IV white water for about three hours. After picnic lunch we go back following beautiful valleys. That afternoon we go back to the valley in Ollantaytambo near the arqueological site is where we will stay. We begin the day taking the train to Machu Picchu.The train ride is spectacular with the chance to see some Inca remains and the beautiful ecosystems along the way. When we get there we will go to the hotel and then we will take the bus up to Machu Picchu for 25 minutes in order to begin our tour and exploration of the Citadel. After we will enjoy our box lunch in look out place. Later we will have the options of hiking one of the original Inca trails for 2 hours with the great chance to see some flora and fauna of the ecosystem. After we will return to our hotel, we have the option of enjoying some hot springs. We cover 8 kilometers. Hotel. (B, L)

This day we go back to Machu Picchu, it is possible for sun rise. This day we go in nice hike to the arqueological sites around Cusco valley for half day. After we will have the afternoon is free to enjoy Cusco City. Hotel (B, L)

This day we explore and hike in the South valley near Cusco. This day we will pick you up to take you to the airport to get your domestic fly to Lima and connections.

    What to bring
    This is a list designed to advise you what equipment is appropriate to bring according to the weather conditions predominating at the time of your trip:

  • Flashlights (at least one headlamp among them).
  • Sun Block; Insect Repellent.
  • Towels (Small; cotton and hygienic).
  • Rain Gear (Pants and Jacket) though not necessary during the months of July and August.
  • A couple of pairs of socks, perhaps even an extra pair.
  • One pair of trousers for the evening plus two more pairs for trail use (zipp-offs).
  • Sandals for River use (Teva types).
  • Low ankle height hiking shoes or regular hiking boots (check the season).
  • Reading material.
  • Binoculars (always useful regardless of season and activity).
  • Bathing Suit.
  • Water Bottle (I liter capacity).
  • Good Sun glasses, perhaps two sets.
  • A bandana for neck protection.
  • A couple of sets of underwear (perhaps an extra pair).
  • Camera and plenty of film.
  • Passport (plus a couple of Xerox copies).
  • At least one short sleeve shirt and one or two long sleeve shirts (dark colors, depending on the place and destiny chosen).
  • And your regular medium to high altitude outer trekking clothes (Anorak-Wind Breaker, Pile or Down Jacket, Wool Hat, Gloves).
